God’s Prophetic Warning

Even now declares the Lord, return to Me with all your heart, with fasting and weeping, and mourning. Rend your heart, and not your garments. Return to the Lord your God. For He is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love, and  He relents from sending calamity.
Joel 2: 12-14 

In the days of Joel, swarms of locust devastated the land of Judah, followed by drought, destroying it’s economy. The plague was allowed by God, as a wake up  call, to rouse the people from their many sins, Joel 1:5. To see the need to turn to the Lord with penitent hearts. If they continue to spurn God’s  gracious call to repentance, judgement will inevitable.

Joel stresses the sovereign power of God over nations, and points out how God uses nature to get His peoples attention. Does this ring a bell?
He also gives a prophetic solemn description of what will happen at the judgement of all nations in Joel 3:14 in the valley of decision in the end times. God alone controls the course of history.

Peters Address

Yet, at Pentecost, Peter recited Joel’s prophetic discourse, that will happen to all those that repent.

And afterwards, I will pour out My Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophecy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions, Even so on my servants, both men and women. I will pour out My Spirit in these  days.

I will show wonders in the heavens, and on the earth, blood, fire and billows of smoke. The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood, before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord.

And everyone who calls on the  Name of the Lord will be saved, for on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there will be  deliverance, as the Lord has said, among the survivors whom the Lord calls. Acts 2: 16-21

We are seeing God pouring His Spirit  out in various places, and revealing Himself directly through signs and wonders. This picture was taken on the 7th May, the last super moon this year, when the moon is nearest the earth on it’s orbit, on the east coast of the Isle of Wight. The image was taken by an unbeliever, who gave me  permission to use it!

It is good to pray blessing over the land and the church, but I believe it is premature at present. The church has to dig deeper, and come to God in humbleness and brokenness, and confess it’s failings before God, before that can happen.

Personal & Corporate Repentance for our Land

Lord God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. You are worthy to be praised, for You have created us by Your mighty power, and redeemed us by Your precious blood, and we are eternally grateful.

We acknowledge that we have sinned against You , and acted in rebellious and wicked ways. We  stand poor, wretched, naked and ashamed before You. We fall at Your feet of grace, and repent of our sin against You, for You are a holy, righteous God, who abhors, sin.

We have allowed unrighteous laws to be passed in our government, and turned away from You. We have failed  to fulfil our obligations with the Balfour Declaration, and San Reno Treaty, which You bestowed upon the UK for protecting Israel, and we are guilty Lord. May You show mercy on us and forgive us Father.

Hold Your face from my sins and blot out all  my  iniquity. Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me from Your presence or take Your Holy Spirit from me.
Psalm 51:5

The Church

As the church in the UK, we have progressively embraced the wicked ways of the world, of ungodly philosophies and practises. We repent of being weak in proclaiming Your Word, watering it down to make it more attractive.

Allowing the political arm of the various denominations to over rule Your precepts, will and  purpose for Your church, causing bondage to many, and restricting the flow of Your Holy Spirit.

Allowing same sex marriage and the ordination of homosexuals in the Church, an abomination to You.

Engaging in Replacement Theology, thinking the church has replaced Israel.  This is arrogance, our inheritance comes from the Jewish roots, and we should  embrace Israel in all that we do.

The nation and kingdom that will not support You will perish.
Isaiah 60:12

This is why much of the church is sick and weak. Lord, we turn from all that is evil. Come refine Your church, that Your remnant may become a bride, that is fit and ready for the Masters calling.

Come out from among them and be separate says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, And I will receive you.
2 Corinthians 6: 17 

But  the hour is coming, and now is when the true worshippers  will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such to worship Him, God is Spirit, and those who worship must worship in spirit and truth.
John 4:23-24

Proclamations

Blessed  be the Name of God forever and ever, For wisdom and might are His, And He changes the times and the seasons; He removes kings and raises up kings; He gives wisdom to the wise And knowledge  to those who have understanding. He reveals deep and secret things; He knows what is right in the darkness, And the light dwells with Him.

For His dominion is an everlasting dominion, And His kingdom is from generation to generation.
All the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing; He does according to His will in the army of heaven And among the inhabitants of earth.

For our Lord God Almighty reigns.

Living In His Presence

Where can I go from  Your Presence? if I go to the heavens, you are there, if I make my bed in the depths you are there. If I rise on the wings  of the dawn, if I settle on the far side, of the sea, even there Your hand  will guide me, Your right hand will hold me fast.
Psalm 139: 7-10

Living in Gods presence reqires an intimate relationship from our hearts, through the Holy Spirit to God’s heart. He  is always available, He never sleeps, and He is always waiting and ready to hear our call. The psalmist in Psalm 16:11 says

You have made know to me the path of life, You will fill me with joy in Your presence, with eternal pleasures at Your right hand.
Psalm 16:11

In the Hebrew, David was saying He was “seated” by the “abundance” of joy that comes from being within God.
He discovered that those who live rightly could dwell literally, inhabit,sit down in the presence of God. The  presence of God, does indeed give us a sense of “rest,”  even during adversity, we can be at peace.

A Life of Sacrifice

Ther is nothing to compare with bathing in God’s presence, where one is  overwhelmed and saturated in His love. It is a place where God shares His desires, His burdens. As we lean on the breast of Christ, we hear His heart  beat.
Our ancestors, the early saints, knew how to live in the secret place, and had a life full of His glory. It is the place of humility, and surrender in worship and intercession, which brings with it the anointing.

We may feel insignificant, but not in God’s eyes!  It is not the big ministries that God looks at, it is the heart of the individual. It was the two elderly sisters, one blind that interceded by day and night, that brought revival to the Isle of Lewis in 1948.
When  God moves, and I know He will soon it will take us all by suprise. In the meantime, as we pour out our hearts, before His throne of grace, not only are we being
changed, but we are advancing the kingdom of God.
In these difficult days, I believe God is calling us to go deeper, to have a fresh encounter. To hunger and thirst after righteousness. True intimacy  captures the attention of God, what can we do, to agree with You Lord, and usher in Your Kingdom?

Seeking His Face

Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not  cast me  from  yor presence, or take Your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me, the  joy of Your salvation, and grant me a willing spirit to sustain me.
Psalm 51: 10

Submit yorselves then to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Come near to God, and He will come near to you. Wash your hands sinners, and purify your hearts, you double minded. Grieve, moan, wail. Change your  laughter to mournng, and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves befor the Lord, and He will lift you up.

Seek the Lord, while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near. Let the wicked forsake His way, And the unrighteous man His thoughts, And let him return to the Lord. And He will have compassion on Him, And to our God.

God’s Promises

Proclamations

No eye has seen, no ear heard, no mind has conceived, what God has prepared for those who love Him, but God has revealed it to us by His Spirit. The Spirit  searches all things, even the deep things of God. For who among  man knows the  thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. We have not received the spirit of the  world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might understand what God has freely given us.
1 Corinthians 2:9:12

The bolts of your gates will be iron and bronze, and our strength will equal our days. There is no one like the God of Jeshrun,  who rides on the heavens to help  us and on the clouds in His majesty. The eternal God is our refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms. He will drive out our enemy before us saying, “Destroy  him! “

Let all the earth fear the Lord, Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him. For He spoke, and it was done; He commanded and it stood fast. The Lord brings the counsel of the nations to nothing; He makes the plans of the peoples of no effect. The counsel of the Lord stands forever, The plans of His heart to all generations. Blessed is the Nation whose God is the Lord, And the people whom He has chosen as His own inheritance.

Go Through The Gates

Lift up your heads O you gates, be lifted up you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle. Lift up your heads , O you gates; lift them up you  ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. Who is this King of glory, the Lord  Almighty, He is the King of glory.
Psalm 24:7-10

Gates were places where the elders gathered in ancient Israel. They were associated with authority and decision making, for government, judgement and commerce.
They are also associated with praise and protection .
In 2 Chronicles 31:2 the priests were appointed to praise in the gates, Nehemiah 12:30 tells us the priests and their lives  purified the gates.

Gates also signify the entrance or blockage of good and evil, both at the beginning and end of God’s plans.
In Genesis 3:24 we are told that God placed a cherubim with a flaming sword, outside the garden of Eden, to guard the tree of life.
When Jesus died the curtain was torn in two, and the Talmud records that the gates of  the temple opened miraculously by themselves in 30 AD.
Revelation 21 declares the New Jerusalem will have 12 gates of pearl, with the names of the  tribes of Israel, inscribed on them. The gates will not be shut, and there will be no darkness.

God is a God of order, and when we can grasp this blueprint for coming into His presence, we shall be blessed beyond measure. Psalm 100:4 says to enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise, give thanks to Him and praise His Name. We are instructed to come into His presence with thanksgiving, and enter His courts with praise, worship then takes us into the throne room. So often, we fail to follow  this order, we sing songs about our own human condition. But God is a jealous God, and He requires and deserves all the praise and glory that is due His Name. Only then will we experience the anointing and fullnes of God’s Spirit.

Thanksgiving

“Be joyful,  pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus.”
1 Thessalonians 5:16

Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever.
1Chronicles 16:14

Let us come before Him with thanksgiving and extol Him with music and song. For the Lord is a great God, the great King above all gods.
Psalm 95: 2-3

You are my God and I will give You thanks, You are my God and I will exalt You. Give thanks to the Lord for He is good; His love endures forever.

Praise

Open to me the gates of the righteous, and I will go through and praise the Lord. This is the gate of the Lord, through which the righteous may enter: I will give thanks, for you answered me and became my salvation.

Blessed is the man who listens to me, watching daily at my doors, waiting at my doorway. For whoever finds Me finds life, and receives favour from the Lord.

Concerning Israel

“Go through the gates! Prepare the way for the people” Build up the highway! Take out the stones. Lift up a banner for the peoples!

Prayer

Finally, in the Name of Jesus, and through His precious blood, covered in our spiritual armour, we stand at  the gates of the Nations, and speak righteousness and truth. We bind and push back every thing that opposes the Word of God. Everything  that exalts itself higher than the knowledge of God we do condemn. And we release the Holy Spirit afresh, to bring revelation,and  salvation to the Nations. Let Your kingdom come. we pray. THANK YOU JESUS.

I did not see a temple in the city, because the Lord God Almighty  and the Lamb are in the temple. The city does not need the sun or moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it  light, and the Lamb is it’s light. The nations will walk by it’s  light, and the kings of earth will bring their splendor into it. On no day will its  gates ever be shut, for there will be no night there. The glory and honour of the nations will be brought into it. Nothing impure will ever go into it, nor will anyone who does what is shameful, but only those whose whose names are written in the Lambs book of life.

The Battle

No weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and this is  their vindication from Me declares the Lord.
Isaiah 54: 17

Here the writer is expressing God’s protection and compassion for His people Israel. There have been many types of weapons that have been made to hurt and destroy people and nations throughout history.

However today we are seeing a different kind of weapon, a deadly virus, which is destroying human life, regardless of culture, colour, age, stature and nation.
The virus attacking parts of the lungs, which distribute oxygen around the organs of the human body. It’s aim is to kill, yet Jesus said,

“I have come that you might have life and have it in abundance.”
John 10:10

Our Spiritual Armour

All believers today, living under the new covenant are equipped with spiritual weapons.

“Finally be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. Put on the whole armour of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world, and against the forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

Therefore put on the whole armour of God, so that when the evil day comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand, stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet with readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.

In addition to all this take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions, with all kinds of prayers and requests.

This is not the time for the church to be indifferent or passive, and be in the trenches. It is the time for it to be on the front line standing together shoulder to shoulder in the Spirit. Jesus has already won the victory at the cross, prophetically we just proclaim it until we see it come into fruition in the physical realm.

Spiritual Warfare

We praise you Lord for your love forgiveness and long suffering. Forgive, forget, restore we pray Lord in Your mercy.
In the authority of the Name of Jesus and through His blood, we bind this corona virus from the nations from the earth, and command it to go to the pit of hell where it belongs, and never to return.

Father we pray, for the power of Your Holy Spirit to flow from the four corners of the earth, to bring repentance, salvation, healing and restoration. Thank you Jesus, for  nothing is impossible with You.

And they conquered him by the blood of the Lamb, and buy the word of their testimony, for they loved not their lives even unto death.
Revelation 12: 11

Behold, I am coming soon!  My reward is with me, and I will give to everyone according to what he has done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the End.

The Three R’s – Repentance, Renewal, Revival

For the eyes of the LORD range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully commit to Him. “You have done a foolish thing, and from now on you will be at war.”
2 Chronicles 16: 9

This chapter focus’s on Asa the King. He had a heart that was fully committed to the Lord all his life. However in his final years, he rejected God’s word given through Hannai the prophet, and became an oppressive ruler. He refused to seek God’s help in times of national crisis. He allowed his faith to be eroded by complacency. He was inflicted with a disease, which God had wanted to use as a spiritual wake up call for Asa back to trusting Him.

Repentance

Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me from Your presence or take away Your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and grant me a willing spirit to sustain me.
Then I will teach transgressors Your ways, and sinners will turn back to You. Save me from blood guilt, O God, the God who saves me, and I will sing of Your righteousness.
Psalm 51: 10-15.

Come let us return to the LORD, He has torn us to pieces but He will heal us; he has injured us but He will bind our wounds. After two days He will revive us: on the third day He will restore us, that we may live in His presence. Let us acknowledge the LORD; let us press on to acknowledge Him. As surly as the sun rises, He will appear, He will come to us like the winter rains, like the spring rains that water the earth.

Restoration

Because of the LORD’S great love we are not consumed, for His compassion’s never fail. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness “The LORD is my portion: therefore I will wait for Him,” The Lord is good to those whose hope is in Him, It is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the LORD.
Lam 3:22-26

“Build up, build up, prepare the road! Remove the obstacles out of the  way of My people.” For this is what the high and lofty One says – He who lives forever, whose Name is holy: I live in a high and holy place, but with him who is contrite and lowly in spirit. To revive the spirit of the lowly, and to revive the heart of the contrite, I will not accuse forever nor will I always be angry, for then the spirit of man would grow faint before me – the breath of man that I have created. I was enraged by his sinful greed. I punished him, and hid my face in anger, yet he kept in his wilful way, but I will heal him,  I will guide him and restore comfort to him, creating peace on the lips of the mourners in Israel.
Peace, peace to those far and near, says the LORD, ” And I will heal them.”
Isaiah 57:14-19

Revival

He is the image of the invisible God, the first born over all creation. For by Him all things were created; things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by Him and for Him is before all things, and in Him things hold together. And He is the head of the body; the church; He is the begining and the firstborn among the dead, so that in everything He might have supremacy. For God was pleased to have all His fullness dwell in Him, and through Him to reconcile to Himself all things, whether on earth or things in heaven, by peace through His blood, shed on the cross.
Colossians 1:15-20.

I will surely gather all you O Jacob; I will surly bring together the remnant of Israel, I will bring together the sheep in a pen, like a flock in it’s pasture: the place will throng with people. One who breaks open the way will go up before them; they will break through the gate and go out. Their King will pass through the gate and go out. The King will pass through them, the LORD at their head.
Micah 2:12-13

All the ends of the earth will remember and turn to the Lord, and all families of the Nations will bow down before Him, For dominions belong to the Lord and He rules over the Nations!

As we declare these sciptures, let us continue to stand our ground, and keep standing, having girded ourselves with the armour of God.

Christ Our Passover

Passover began at sundown Wed 8th April 2020. An eight day holiday that commemorates the departure of the Jewish people from slavery in Egypt, more than 3,000 years ago. Exodus 7-11, God inflicted ten plagues upon the Egyptians when Pharaoh refused to free the Israelites.

By day the Lord went ahead of them, in  a pillar of cloud to guide them on their way, and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, so they could travel by day or night. Neither the pillar of cloud by day, nor the pillar  of fire by night left it’s place in front of people.
Exodus 13: 21-2

Are there similarities to today? The world is in lock down at present from a lethal, mystery virus, a plague. Interestingly, Passover coincides with Easter this year. From the eve of Passover a large pink moon is shining down nearer to earth than any other time, What is God saying?

  1. If My people, who are called by My Name, will humble themselves and pray  and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
    2 Chronicles 7:14

Protection

Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High, shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

He shall cover you with His feathers, And under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield a buckler.

Declaration

But He was pierced for our transgression, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon Him, and by His wounds we are healed.

Proclamations

For through Him we have both access to the Father by one Spirit.

On this special day, many are participating in the breaking of bread, and taking the cup, the blood of the Passover lamb, aligning themselves with God’s people, and you are welcome to join with us today.

Christ our Passover is sacrificed for us. Therefore, let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.
1 Corinthians 5: 7-8

When the shadow of the LORD is in the camp it is the sound of victory! He is the Rock of our Salvation.

The Clarion Call Has Sounded

The Word of Lord came to me, Jeremiah, “What do you see Jeremiah “I see the branch of an almond tree I replied. The Lord said to me. “You have seen correctly, for I am watching to see My Word is fulfilled.”
Jeremiah 1:11-12

The almond tree is one of the first that rises and wakes from its winter sleep in Israel, in January, by March it fruits to maturity. The tree represents God’s  prophetic utterances to Jeremiah of the forthcoming judgements coming to earth. The Hebrew translation ‘shoked’ represents God’s hastening.

Matthew 24 and Revelation 6 forecast disease pandemics in the time before Jesus’s return.

God watches over His Word. The Hebrew word ‘shaqad’ means to be alert.

As believers we are His instruments, covered in our spiritual armour and washed in His blood.

Standing in victory under the shadow of His wings, we proclaim His Word prophetically over the Nations.

A frightened world needs a fearless church!
